Podcast - Episode 45 - Creating An eCourse For Mums

You Are Here Because You Believe Birth Is About Making Mums Too.

Expert Interview with Layla O’Mara

As a Newborn Mother, you are being invited to reinvent yourself because when a baby is born so is a mother, and the birth of a mother can be more intense than childbirth. You'll learn how to find peace and joy in the first 40 days after birth and how your postpartum experience can change your life.

Layla O’Mara is a postpartum doula, five-element acupuncturist, mum of three and founder of NuaNua.com.

Layla created NuaNua after experiencing first hand the fundamental difference a supported postpartum can make to a new mother. Sharing the importance of support, a community, rest and respect after birth she works with mothers to be and new mums during that huge transition that begins when we become a mother.

Combining her wisdom as a postpartum doula, 10 years experience as a Chinese medicine practitioner and lessons learnt as a mum of three, Layla has created a wonderfully supportive online preparation course for expectant mothers - the NuaNua Postpartum Field Guide. The Field Guide empowers expectant mothers to prepare for after birth in a way that will help them thrive, not just survive those early weeks and months. It offers 6 modules covering everything from community building to nest making as well as a resource area filled with videos on topics including belly binding, self-massage, yogic relaxation and postpartum cooking & food.

Layla will also be launching an online Mother’s Circle for new mothers in the Autumn.
