Dr Kristy Goodwin is one of Australia’s leading digital learning and wellness educators (and mum who also deals with her kids’ techno-tantrums!). She’s written extensively about digital health and wellbeing and is the author of Raising Your Child in a Digital World, a speaker and digital wellness researcher, who doesn’t propose ‘digital amputation’. Kristy worked as a teacher for fourteen years before becoming an academic. She’s worked with clients including Apple, Nickelodeon Channel, the National Broadband Network, McDonalds, NSW Department of Education and Optus. Kristy has spoken at national and international conferences and at schools, workplaces and at medical conferences throughout Australia and Asia. Kristy is regularly called upon by the media to translate the latest research about how technology is impacting our health and wellbeing into practical and realistic advice for parents, educators, health professionals and executives.
