Indigestion is such a common complaint for new mums and these vegies will treat your tummy kindly after you have had a baby. When well cooked these vegies are sweet, grounding, juicy and easy to digest. You'll probably notice that they are the same vegies that you start weaning babies with!
Most of the vegies are cooling, and new mums tend to needs lots of warmth, which is why garlic and ginger are on the list too. When well cooked garlic and ginger are warm and sweet (not hot) and really help with digestion. And as long as they are well cooked baby tummies love them in your milk too.
If you have visitors coming ask them to pick up some of these things on their way over!
